Who we are
FlexFleet is software for on-demand transit. Transit programs use it to run their own rider, driver, and staff apps. This page is the privacy notice for account sign-in, SMS one-time codes, ride-update texts, and the contact data used for those messages.
The legal entity is FlexFleet LLC, a Wyoming member-managed limited liability company. Its sole member is FlexFleet Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Mailing address: 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801.
Privacy contact: privacy@flexfleet.io
Location and trip data, payments and tips, and other product data are used to operate the rider, driver, and manager experience for the transit program. Those uses are not fully detailed on this page yet.
What we collect to sign you in
Rider and driver apps can sign you in with a phone number. When you ask for a code, FlexFleet texts a one-time code to that number. The message contains only that short-lived code. We send it only when you request it, and only for sign-in, two-factor authentication, or phone verification.
Some rider programs offer email sign-in or single sign-on instead. On those paths a phone number is not required. A program can also ask a rider for a first name and a last name, and, if that program turns the field on, an age or a gender. Those fields are for the rider profile. They are not used to send marketing texts.
The manager app and the client admin sign in with a client name, an email address, and a password. Managers and client admins do not receive SMS sign-in codes. The password goes from your browser or the app to the authentication service. FlexFleet does not store it in our tables or config.
Text messages (SMS sign-in codes)
- Codes are for sign-in, two-factor authentication, and phone verification only.
- A code is sent only when you request one.
- We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- Frequency is low: typically a few codes per person per month.
- Messages contain only a short-lived code.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You can also email privacy@flexfleet.io.
- If you opt out of these texts, you may need another sign-in method, or help from support, to access your account.
- We collect phone numbers from people who enter them. We do not buy phone numbers, and we do not share them for marketing.
FlexFleet uses Twilio to deliver these text messages. Sign-in texts identify as FlexFleet. FlexFleet sends them from one shared platform sender (Twilio Verify, FlexFleet Auth OTP) for every transit program.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Ride updates by text
When a ride is happening, FlexFleet can send the rider a short operational update about that ride, such as the vehicle arriving. The first choice is an app push notification. If push is not available (no token on the device, a token that no longer works, or push turned off), the same update is sent by text to the phone number on the account.
These texts are operational messages about the ride. They are not marketing or promotions. They go out while the ride is happening and are not held for quiet hours. Msg & data rates may apply.
